The Westin Maui Resort and Spa is located ocean-front on warm Ka'anapali beach. Snorkeling and Scuba diving are offered beachfront and much can be seen in front of the hotel and slightly up shore at Black Rock. Remember that ocean conditions are constantly changing. Be sure to have a fun yet safe ocean adventure by following these safety tips:
- Weather and ocean tides do change affecting ocean conditions. Waves and strong currents may be unsafe. Red flags indicate dangerous ocean conditions. Use good judgment before entering the water. - The beach fronting the hotel is a public beach, as are all beaches in Hawaii. There are no lifeguards on duty at any time.
- Children should be accompanied by an adult at the beach, pool, and spas at all times. No lifeguards are on duty.
